tattoo process
I am a tattoo artist of 13+ years working every day to create the best custom and creative pieces / projects i can make for my clients. Specializing in illustrative and anime work.
I also enjoy creative other tattoos such as realism tattoos, characters or themes from books, tv shows, or movies, and just about anything colorful!
many clients ask what my favorite tattoo is and the answer i always give is, “it isn’t the tattoo, it is the person.” I wholeheartedly enjoy meeting new clients and gifting my art to new or dedicated collectors!
experience
For a full day or half day session you can expect some draw time at the beginning of the day if it is a brand new project. We will make sure every detail is perfect and you, as the client, approve the final design.
After that, We will get the stencil prepped, skin prepped, and stencil applied. Once the final approval from the client is given i go ahead and get my ink, needles, and references pulled out.
during the wait my clients can enjoy coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water, or their preferred drink / snacks while watching tv shows, movies, or anime (client choice).
Clients can use numbing, although i prefer painless tattoo numbing over any brand. Be aware numbing has pros and cons that i am happy to discuss with the client to allow you as the client to make an informed decision for your pain tolerance and tattoo session.
Half way through a full day session, my client and i will get food (on me) from somewhere agreed upon (clients choice). This is where we line up a short break to let the skin cool down and get our energy back!
After the break, we will put some good music, tv shows, movies, or anime back on and finish up the session.
For half days, we will do the same process as above, just usually minus a food break since the session usually ends right as my clients get hungry. So i suggest bringing a snack or snacks for those sessions. I do have candy / chips on hand.
For back to back days, we will tattoo to a stopping point then wrap the tattoo properly for the following day. I will give instructions on care and keeping it safe overnight. Lunch will be on me both days for back to back days.
Once any project or piece is completed, the session is finalized with a bactine bath prior to photos, videos, and aftercare.
I utilize jojoba oil, umbra, 70% / 91% isopropyl alcohol, and ink beetle liquid derm gel.
I try to maintain an organic and natural healing standard.

I specialize in creating anime tattoos that are custom for my clients. Whether it is an exact manga panel or frame from their favorite anime, to recreating a character they love. I spend hours watching anime as I grew up with many of the major anime’s as my favorite past times to watch and read. So you can count on me to watch your show and know your characters if I haven’t seen your anime! But I have watched… like… a lot haha!
Feel confident knowing your artist has a passion for what he is tattooing and truly loves every piece that he gets to create!
Be sure to browse the anime tattoos section under portfolio to see my anime specific tattoos.

Alongside anime, illustration or illustrative works of art have been a major focus in tattooing and art as well.
From old school Disney films, to new age Pixar, and even original Winnie the Pooh books with the watercolor illustrative style are what drives my passion behind my illustrative side of art.
Focusing on the very minute details of thin line weights and muted or vibrant colors based on the piece can make the most delicate of characters come to life on a clients skin!
Allow an artist to create your permanent piece or project who has a passion for the art styles that gave way to animation and animators such as Walt Disney, Hayao Miyazaki, and many more!

these are the last few styles I have created over the span of tattooing that fundamentally intertwine into many of my works of art. Especially mashup artwork.
I genuinely love creating artwork, so even if you aren’t making an anime or illustrative piece, I love creating delicate fine line work, neo traditional art, realism (both color and bng), and various styles at random I may get to do throughout the year from unique project asks!
let’s create something amazing for you, as you can be assured your artist puts his passion into every piece and project that sits in his chair.
